Guy Paquette is the Founder and Director of Addiev Corporate Training. He has a vast array of experience in the design, development and delivery of professional education for government, commercial, and social purpose enterprises. He also specializes in ANSI and ISO accreditation.
Guy spent 16 years with the Department of National Defence working in communications, technology and training. He pioneered the military's new media, social media, and mobile journalism training programs and trained over 2,000 communications professionals through in-class, blended, and online learning programs. In 2018, he collaborated on the inception of IncludeMe, a gamified app for workplace mental health training. A Queen's University study showed evidence that 78 percent of learners experienced a positive shift in attitudes — a significant success. His work with Canopy Growth Corporation earned their training center international accreditation.

Guy is certified in Advanced Instructional Techniques and Course Analysis, Design and Evaluation. He is also certified in ADDIE for Instructional Design and Project Management. He also holds diplomas in Marketing, Computer Programming and Materials Management.
Jacqui Haines oversees Addiev's ISO 21001 and 29993 accreditation programs. She is an accomplished management professional with 25+ years of experience in client service, customer relations, corporate strategy, leadership, team building, and business administration. She is highly skilled in shaping the foundations and structure of successful corporate governance, standards and project management in both start-up and established business environments.
A pioneer in the Canadian legal cannabis industry, Jacqui established Canopy Growth’s award-winning Care Centre and internationally accredited training centre. Jacqui was also instrumental in developing the framework and structure of the SuperPages Canada national contact centre and shaping the standards and governance structure for several Canadian and International companies.
Jacqui’s ability to build and connect business systems and processes that deliver professional, creative, scalable and effective outcomes and her collaborative leadership style is a great fit for organizations looking to establish or upgrade their standards and project workflow.
Jacqui holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia and has achieved certifications in change management, negotiation, strategic planning and project management.
Karie Dufour has more than 15 years of professional writing, communications and training experience and leads content development and instructional design services at Addiev. Karie spent 8 years developing certified communication courses and training public affairs students from Canada and abroad.
Karie started as a community news journalist, progressed into corporate communications and training, and eventually into managing the Canadian Army's web and social media enterprise. She has produced a massive amount of published copy ranging from tweets for the military to articles on mental health education, to e-learning modules on cannabis.
Her passion, creativity, plain language approach, efficiency, attention to detail, and ability to bring just the right tone have made Karie a critical resource for organizations looking to produce training material that resonates with learners.
Karie holds a Bachelor of Journalism with specializations in online publishing and public relations. She is also certified in Advanced Instructional Techniques and Course Analysis, Design and Evaluation, and TEFL, Level 3. Karie employs a variety of authorware and multimedia development tools and has experience across a range of learning management systems.
Amber Gauthier was an instructor for over 4 years before transitioning into Instructional Design. She brings 3 years of instructional design experience to Addiev in course development with strong skills in program planning and psycho-education for online learning. Amber has deep experience in Universal Learning having designed learning programs for diverse audiences in Spain, Greece and elsewhere.
Amber is a Child and Youth Care Counselor (CYC) and a member of the Ontario Association of Child and Youth Care (OACYC). Her experiences offer insight into learner thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and body sensations that may be experienced while engaged in training programs.
Amber is versed in both pedagogical and andragogical approaches and is able to leverage these two perspectives to develop highly engaging eLearning courses and other programs of study for onsite or virtual learning.
Amber holds two B.A. degrees with specializations in Psychology and Indigenous Social Work. She also holds a Diploma in Child & Youth Care, Cert and is a certified English Second Language Instructor. Amber is also certified in GBA+, ADDIE for Instructional Design, Online Instructional Design, and Instructional Design Models.
Ahrold Bautista brings 9 years of graphic design and multimedia development experience to Addiev.
Ahrold is a design professional who executes brilliantly on concepts and specifications, consistently delivering outstanding results.
Ahrold has designed product packaging and point-of-purchase displays, website graphics, print and eBooks plus layout, custom iconography and fonts, presentations and reports, infographics, educational workbooks, corporate identities and brand work, including brand manuals to ensure consistency throughout all corporate communication products.
Ahrold holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Advertising and Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design.
