Helping tourism operators respond to funding opportunities
One of the challenges of being a business that relies on tourism, is filling out applications for funding, such as grants offered through government programs. They are often complex, difficult to read, repetitive, and time consuming. The goal was to create a program that enhanced grant writing skills — based on best practices and techniques that earn results.
Addiev has worked with NPOs on grant applications and RFPs — earning millions in project funding over the years. The lessons learned by us and others were applied in the CCT's Get Tourism Grant Writing Ready program — resulting in a 3-module, 60-minute course. One is the features of the program is the ability to switch from eLearning to live training. The program comes complete with learner aids like a fully functioning, practice grant application. |
Challenge: Create a program using Addiev's Tri-Modal© approach
The idea was to create one program that could be taken as self-directed learning or led by a facilitator with a group of participants. The course is delivered via the Learning Lab where participants can be registered and their completion tracked. The course features narration, closed captions, and a mute option when a facilitator steps in. Lessons are complimented by exercises that are designed for individual or group response. Learners receive ample resources including a workbook and practice templates. Here's what we achieved:
Tri-Modal© designed course that can be delivered as eLearning or in a facilitator-led session.
|
Challenges that can completed individually, as a peer-to-peer exercise, or as a group.
|
Learners get a workbook, pitch deck, practice grant application, and a practice budget template.
|
Program hosted on a CCT-branded LMS that individuals and facilitators can use.
